Her Heading

Her Heading is our collection for women in aviation, and for the families, partners and crews who are proud of them. Pilots, flight instructors and new captains, mechanics with safety wire, controllers in the tower, a first solo heard from the parking lot, mothers and daughters who both fly, a grandmother who signs the logbook, the call with a class date, a crosswind landed wing-low and a retirement to the garden. Botanical illustration in flat solid inks, peonies, tulips and wildflowers with instruments and generic airplanes, drawn in deep navy for soft light colors and again in warm cream for deeper ones.
